The tap-to-give kiosk for houses of worship

Giving Made Simple.

Donors pick an amount, tap a card and get a receipt by email. Three taps, eight languages, and a kiosk that looks after itself in the lobby.

  • 0taps to give
  • 0languages
  • 0steps to set up
  • 0card numbers stored

Touch an amount to start.

Turn your phone sideways for a bigger kiosk.

How it works

Three taps. That's the whole thing.

No app to download, no account to make, no line at the office. The donor walks up, gives, and walks on.

  1. 1

    Pick an amount

$1 to $20 at a tap, or any amount up to $100,000 on the keypad. Large type, eight languages, right-to-left where it should be.

  2. 2

    Tap, insert or swipe

The Dejavoo payment app reads the card. NovaGives only ever sees the result, so card numbers never touch the kiosk.

  3. 3

    Receipt by email

Donors who want one type their address once. The receipt arrives from your organization, in their language, ready for tax time.

Built for the lobby

Everything a kiosk needs to be left alone.

Volunteers run the day. Installers set it up once. Donors just give.

Eight languages

English, Spanish, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil and Telugu, each in its own script. Arabic and Urdu read right to left, amounts never flip.

Faith templates

Church, Mosque and Hindu Temple templates with their own wording, headings and quotations, reviewed with each community.

Cards stay with the processor

Dejavoo's DvPayLite handles every card. The kiosk stores no card numbers, so there is nothing to steal from it.

Giving hours and pause

Set when card giving is open, pause it for a service, or keep it open tonight for a late event. The screen says why when it rests.

A staff admin that fits volunteers

A six-digit PIN opens today's gifts, kiosk health and reports. Void today's gifts, refund earlier ones with a NovaGives code, nothing more to break.

Receipts, reports, statements

Donor receipts as gifts happen, a monthly report to your office with every gift, and year-end statements each January.

Runs on the Dejavoo P18

A payment terminal with a bright 10.95-inch landscape screen that flips to face the donor. Stand it in the lobby; it relaunches by itself after a reboot.

Readable from a step away

Instructions at ADA kiosk size, high contrast, and buttons made for thumbs. Built for grandparents and teenagers alike.

Receipts and reports

Every gift accounted for, without a spreadsheet night.

  • Donor receipts in their language. Amount, date, card ending, your organization's name and tax ID, and the wording the IRS asks for.
  • One report a month to your office. Every gift from every kiosk as a spreadsheet, with the receipt status of each one.
  • Year-end statements each January. One line per donor for the year, ready to forward or print.
  • History kept for you. Organizations and groups of organizations keep their full record with NovaGives, and can ask for any period on request.

Delivered

A quick sum

What does a lobby kiosk add up to?

Slide the numbers for your community. Most people carry a card, fewer carry cash.

Each week$800
Each month$3,467
Each year$41,600

Trust

Built like a payment terminal, because it is one.

No card data in the app

The card is read and charged by Dejavoo's own payment app on the terminal. NovaGives receives an approval or a decline, never the card.

Locked down in the lobby

The kiosk runs full screen, relaunches after a restart, and opens its admin only to a six-digit PIN. Staff and installer PINs are kept apart.

Honest when it can't take a gift

Offline, out of hours or low on battery, the screen says so in plain words instead of taking a tap it can't complete.

Questions

Asked before the first installation.

Which cards does it take?

Tap, insert or swipe with the major card brands your merchant account accepts. Phones and watches that pay by tap work too. The terminal is a Dejavoo P18 on the iPOSpays platform.

Does it need Wi-Fi?

The terminal needs a connection to approve cards, over Wi-Fi or a cellular plan. When the connection drops, the kiosk says so on screen and goes back to taking gifts the moment it returns.

Who sets it up?

A NovaGives installer sets up the kiosk with you in six steps: template, wording, amounts, languages, receipts and payments. After that, NovaGives support is a phone call away on weekdays.

What about refunds?

Staff can void a gift from today, and refund an earlier one with the donor present and a code from NovaGives support. Every void and refund is written to the kiosk's log.

Where do the records live?

On the kiosk, and with the NovaGives receipts service, which keeps the history for your organization and sends the monthly report. Donor email addresses are stored encrypted and used only for receipts.

What does it cost?

Card processing fees come from your merchant account. The kiosk, installation and support are quoted per organization. Tell us a little about yours below and we will send a quote.
